Establishment of a new health center with many different user groups and rehabilitation of existing nursing homes.
Users include the emergency department, X-ray, medical services, public health nurse, laboratory, rehab, dementia, dialysis, physiotherapy, child welfare services, substance abuse and psychiatry, home care services, canteen/cafe and 17 new care homes with associated functions.
Major renovations to the existing building stock that interfere with the nursing home’s operational situation.
High focus on innovative solutions and welfare technology. First phase of the project carried out as a general contract, with construction completed at the end of 2017. Second phase with client-managed subcontracts completed in July 2019.
High proportion of housing bank financing. Approx. 4000m2 new build and rehabilitation in total.
The project has involved the National Program for Supplier Development and, among other things, conducted dialogue conferences to ensure innovative procurement for several deliveries:
- Overall responsibility for running all processes with user involvement, follow-up of the design group, construction management team and adjacent nursing homes in operation.
- High focus on subsidy adjustments in the project towards both the Housing Bank and Enova.
- High focus on innovative solutions and procurement.
- Overall financial follow-up of all contracts for contractors, consultants, construction managers and suppliers
- Overall progress and quality controls
- Close dialogue with administration and politicians
- Coordination of construction management teams
